2024 SUMMER READING LIST

The Las Comadres & Friends National Latino Book Club is celebrating its 10th Annual Summer Reading List on this the first day of Summer.  They have selected 20 books in commemoration, with something for everyone in a variety of genres.  The List includes a 40-year-old classical novel; a Pulitzer Prize winner; a celebrity memoir; a dazzling anthology with intergenerational voices of Latine women; mysteries; romances; historical fiction; young adult books; an adorable children’s book, a mouth-watering cookbook, and its first ever craft gardening book.

“Reading is so enjoyable when you can connect with the stories,” states Teresa M. Tobin, the Book Club’s Project Manager.  “Our 10th Summer Reading List has a story just for you! Connections and new perspectives abound in the stories by our talented Latino writers.  So, sit back and allow the writing to transport you to a place you have never been. Happy Reading!”
